The Rick Sherman Duo (Rick, with Paul Navidad on sax) performing for the “umpteenth” time for the ANNUAL BALBOA ISLAND ARTWALK!
If you’ve never attended the Artwalk, you really owe it to yourself and your family to come join me on this Sunday. A great way to spend a Sunday with friends and family, the Artwalk combines displays of excellent local artists, fantastic live music (if we do say so ourselves ;-), fresh coastal air, and a panoramic view of world-renowned Newport Harbor.
We will be performing outdoors on South Bayfront (the “boardwalk/promenade”), at 526 South Bayfront, between Turquoise Avenue and Topaz Avenue (but closer to Topaz), on Balboa Island (zip code 92662; NOT Balboa Peninsula). Come early to enjoy our good friend Gary Gould on sax and penny-whistle (and maybe theremin too), from 9am to 12pm, “warming up our spot”.
